Kampala Forest Resort (KFR) is located on Muyenga Hill. This is one of the upscale and refined neighbourhoods in Kampala. There is sufficient police presence in the neighbourhood with a police patrol car surveilling Muyenga round the clock. In case of emergencies, back up can be requested at a moment’s notice from the Kabalagala Police Station which is 1.6km from Kampala Forest Resort or the Kisugu Police Station which is 2.3km from Kampala Forest Resort.
At KFR, we don’t take it for granted that we are located in one of the most secure neighborhoods in Kampala. Security and safety for our guests and their property is most paramount to us. We have full time armed security on our premises from a reputable local security company. CCTV cameras are installed across the property to ensure safety of the guests.
We are also well aware of the fire hazards in hotels. That is why, in conjunction with a reputable fire management company, a fire management system was put in place for example fire extinguishers are strategically located across the hotel in case of a fire emergency. Not only are the fire extinguishers easy to operate, all the staff have been trained on usage of the fire suppressants and identification of risk factors that can be escalated to Management for resolution.
